My Thoughts on Travel Photography
Travelling has always been a very special privilege and inspiration for me. From my first flight to Amsterdam in 1978 to my very last trip taken, I have always regarded travel as a way to learn about the world that we live in and to learn more about myself. As a very visual person who is drawn to spectacular landscapes, vibrant cities, different cultures, nature's wonders and historical landmarks, I thrive to see, participate in and capture through my lens, pictures that bring out the best of this world mosaic of beauty.
Most of my travel has been to destinations from mine or my wife Paula's bucket list of dream locations. These locations have all been inspiring, exciting, and quite simply put - spectacular! It is my hope that you will also find some joy and pleasure in these photos, and that that they may spur you on to explore this wonderful planet even further.
Bon Voyage. I look forward to your comments. Cheers, Rick
