Understanding Your Project Requirements

Every project is unique, and likewise your photographic needs will also be unique. It is critical that together we complete a “Project Discovery Session” (PDS) at the very beginning of the project. The result of this session will be to identify all aspects of the requirements of the project including: project timing, the “shot list”, image look and feel, safety details, location (we will travel anywhere as needed), site access, pricing, etc. If a face to face or on-site meeting are not possible, we will schedule a video conference call to complete the PDS.

Architecture (building exteriors and/or interiors) – Key requirements that need to be understood are:

• type of images (day/night)

• the shot list

• time of day/time of year

• end use of the images

• shoot locations

• access to the buildings

• key contacts

• specific shot(s) requirements and co-ordination with other groups or people

• special activities that need to be captured

• are aerial images/video needed

• weather issues and alternate date options, etc.

Industrial (manufacturing or construction) – Key requirements that need to be understood are:

• type of images (day/night)

• the shot list

• time of day / time of year

• end use of the images

• shoot locations

• access to the buildings

• key contacts

• specific shot(s) – the shot list requirements and co-ordination with other groups or people

• special activities that need to be captured (lifts, pours, moves, manufacturing steps, equipment focus)

• are aerial images/video needed

• weather issues and alternate date options, etc.

Deliverables & Usage

Regarding our Architecture and Industrial project work, we deliver to our clients, both lo and hi resolution versions of the final agreed to images in whatever file types needed. Should you also require printed and/or mounted prints, we will be pleased to provide a quote for these additional services. While Rick Vyrostko Photography retains ownership of the copyright for all images, all our Architecture and Industrial clients will receive 100% usage rights. Use the images however and wherever you need. We also offer split rates when multiple project partners are involved. This helps everyone keep costs down.

Workplace Safety Considerations

Safety first is always a key when we are working on site. Rick Vyrostko Photography is fully insured and is always prepared with the required PPE for on site work. This includes (but not limited to): hard hats, safety boots and goggles, face masks (Covid-19), high visibility reflective clothing, etc. If your project requires additional unique PPE, please let us know in advance so that we can prepare appropriately.

Next Steps

If you feel that Rick Vyrostko Photography may be a good fit for you and your project, the following is a list of the next steps:

• Send me an e-mail to rick.vyrostkophotography.com, with a summary of project and best time to call back (or call me directly at +1-647-519-7425), so we can discuss the project.

• We’ll schedule a PDS (Project Discovery Session) to take a deeper dive into the project details. Video conference calls will be scheduled if a face-to-face meeting is not practical.

• If needed, a site visit will be requested in order to confirm specific site details.

• We will then provide a quote along with all contractual documentation for your review and approval. We look forward to working with you.

Thank you in advance, Rick
